Two-day (Foundation)
Personalised Conversations and Health Coaching Skills
Duration: 16 hours (4 half-days over 4 weeks, online via MS Teams/Zoom)

This 2-day foundation course is suitable for Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Social Prescribers, Care Co-ordinators, and other frontline roles in Primary Care Networks (PCNs), neighbourhood teams, and the voluntary/community sector, as well as anyone working in health and care who supports people to improve their health and wellbeing.
You will develop coaching skills that empower people to take greater control of their health and wellbeing by learning how to personalise your support. The course is grounded in personalised care principles and supports prevention, self-management, and improved patient experience.

Apply core health coaching principles, strategies, skills, and behaviour change techniques.

Four-day (Advanced)
Personalised Health and Wellbeing Coaching
Duration: 16 hours (4 half-days over 4 weeks, online via MS Teams/Zoom)

Delivered over a minimum of 8 weeks, this course combines the 2-day Foundation and 2-day Advanced modules into one comprehensive learning journey. Learners may choose to complete both parts together or begin with the Foundation and progress to the Advanced module within 6 months creating a flexible skills escalator that supports real-world integration and reflection between modules.
You will gain a full range of core and advanced health coaching skills, enabling you to facilitate high-quality personalised conversations that support prevention, self-management, and long-term wellbeing.

Use the TGROW model, Motivational Interviewing, and Solutions Focused Coaching to confidently support behaviour change
Tailor coaching approaches to meet individual levels of readiness, complexity, and capacity
Recognise and respond to biopsychosocial factors that influence health and wellbeing
Apply principles of trauma-informed care to create psychologically safe, compassionate coaching relationships
Handle resistance constructively while maintaining trust and engagement
